Geneva is leading the way in brain care and the brain economy bringing together healthcare professionals and AI experts to improve treatment and research.
A new AI-powered healthcare hub, opening in the second half of 2025, is coming to Campus Biotech, Site of Switzerland Innovation Park West EPFL, thanks to a unique collaboration between the Wyss Center for Bio and Neuroengineering, HUG - Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, and the Department of Health and Mobility (DSM) of Etat de Genève.

Here’s what you can expect:
- Patient Care and Research: HUG specialists, in collaboration with the Wyss Center, will offer cutting-edge diagnostics and treatments for conditions like epilepsy, strokes, depression, and sleep disorders, with access to clinical trials and new therapies.
- Translational Research: The hub will support AI-guided neuromodulation and foster innovation through start-ups., like dEEGtal, which focuses on AI-based epilepsy diagnostics.
- AI Integration: It will drive research into AI-powered solutions for healthcare, improving prevention, patient care, and administrative processes.
- 4. Education and Engagement: The hub will host training sessions, discussions, and events to raise awareness about the ethical, scientific, and social aspects of AI in healthcare.
