SIP Basel Area, site Jura is delighted to announce the three first ventures chosen to participate in the 12-month acceleration program DayOne Tech running from August 2022 to July 2023.
DayOne is the Healthcare Innovation initiative from Basel Area Business & Innovation, the investment, and innovation promotion agency dedicated to helping companies, institutions, and startups find business success in the Basel Area. It will support the winners with CHF 260’000. Half of the funds will be used for professional services to help with the most important – usually quite complicated – basics such as regulatory affairs and quality assurance or intellectual property. A major part of the funds will be a cash stake offered to start-up founders to develop their venture.

Chronic pain can be life-altering. CNS Therapy has developed the ability to make chronic pain patients pain-free using neuromodulation and behavioral therapy. No medication, surgery, implants, or cannabis are needed.The company will relocate its corporate headquarter from Zug to Delémont to be at the heart of the medtech ecosystem.
Moonlight AI – genomic information for better therapy
Moonlight AI is developing AI models for the prediction of therapeutically relevant genomic biomarkers by using image scans of stained hematology or pathology slides.
Cryothermo 4.0 – a patent for a new medical thermal compress
CryoThermo 4.0 Sàrl is developing a new generation of medical thermal compresses 4.0 thanks to a technological and therapeutic paradigm shift. The invention is patent protected.
The 3 teams will benefit from 12 months of customized services by professionals on the IP, RAQA, development, and business sides on top of other acceleration services (super coach, cash and in kind, office space at SIP Basel Area, site Jura and access to its ecosystem, etc).
