Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich is preparing for an exciting phase of growth. An important milestone in the park's development was recently reached with the conclusion of an architectural competition.

Following an extensive architectural competition, to which renewed national and international firms were invited to participate, a jury selected seven projects from the 28 submitted proposals. These will be built as part of the first phase of new construction from 2024 to 2032.

From flexible workspaces to state-of-the-art laboratories and manufacturing areas, these projects reflect the park's commitment to fostering ground-breaking research and industrial innovation. The expansion of the Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich will not only accommodate more than 10,000 employees but will also provide a vibrant ecosystem for visitors and the local community.

As things stand at present, around 24 percent of the floor space is planned to consist of offices and 8 percent of laboratories. 12 percent will be workshops for the manufacture of prototypes for high-tech production. Space is also needed for utilities, services, restaurants, and leisure facilities. More than a third of the space can be used flexibly.

Stay tuned for more updates as the park continues to evolve into a dynamic hub of innovation and collaboration in robotics & mobility, space & aviation, and advanced manufacturing.
