The Ascento robot allows security providers to efficiently cover large outdoor areas requiring significant human resources to patrol.
The team of eight engineers of Ascento Robotics has developed a robot that autonomously patrols outdoor areas, reliably ensuring the security of large areas around the clock.
Their robot is a combination of bipedal and wheeled locomotion, with a “head” that houses the computer, battery, sensors, and cloud-based AI.
Thanks to its large premises, Ascento finds ideal conditions in the Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich to test and continuously improve their security robots.
