Accelerating Industrial Innovation with Private 5G and AI in Switzerland

In collaboration with Nokia, Dätwyler IT Infra, and Intel Corporation, Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne has launched a private 5G and AI-powered edge innovation hub. This new industrial testbed enables startups and nonprofit organizations to explore and trial real-time AI and private 5G solutions, all without incurring infrastructure costs.

The hub will accelerate innovation across energy, mobility, health, and manufacturing, empowering pioneers to develop:

- Predictive maintenance through real-time analytics
- Gen AI-driven digital assistants for intuitive human-machine interaction
- Secure, low-latency edge connectivity
- Energy-efficient automation for sustainable productivity
