At Switzerland Innovation Park Central, Site of Park Zurich, startup Revoltab AG partnered with long-established electrical wholesaler Otto Fischer AG to transform how ambient scenting works in buildings. Their joint innovation: the Smart Diffuser HIDE R01.

Traditional scent systems rely on large standalone devices. Revoltab's approach was to rethink integration entirely. The Smart Diffuser is a compact IoT device designed to install directly inside standard electrical wall outlets, blending seamlessly into existing infrastructure. It uses recyclable scent cartridges and features app-based control for scheduling and scent selection. This makes it both energy-efficient and easy to manage remotely.

Otto Fischer brought market knowledge, logistics, and customer access to the table. Through this collaboration, Revoltab accelerated product scaling and distribution across Switzerland. Their solution is now deployed in retail, hospitality, and healthcare environments, delivering consistent scent experiences without visual clutter.

Switzerland Innovation Park Central played a key role by facilitating the initial connection between the two companies, supporting product development, and providing a platform for visibility. This project illustrates how pairing startup agility with corporate scale leads to fast, market-ready innovation in building tech.
