Microcity in Neuchâtel is Europe’s largest microtechnology competence centre, hosting around 600 researchers across 12 high-tech laboratories. As the R&D heart of Watch Valley, it drives intelligent additive manufacturing, microsystems, photovoltaics, diagnostics, and precision engineering. Established through collaboration between EPFL, CSEM, HES‑SO, and UniNE, the site blends academic excellence and industrial know-how. Covering over 23, 000 m², it offers cutting-edge infrastructure, eco‑efficient design, and strong support programs.
